I attended Strathallan at the same time as Stan .He spent many days at Kinnaird ( my home then ) and our families became great friends. I remember well visiting Stan at his home in Penpont for a holiday and also a holiday at Troon. Although he could "drive" a V bomber I was not a fan of his behind the wheel of a car Forteviot was as far as we got before I suggested we return home. Missing him greatly. Peter Hamilton
