I first met Stan when I joined the ShareSoc Board in 2013; we used to have intriguing chats about numerous things from skiing to investing. He lent me some books although I joked that most of them went over my head which amused him. I was instrumental in helping Stan become Chair of ShareSoc and he was an excellent and enlightening Chair. He was such an interesting and kind man and I was very sorry to see him depart this world far too early.
